All students by the end of the session to have an awareness of the blogger system and be able to locate website and able to create an account.
Introduction to course and explanation of the assignment paper ‘Band Identity’.
Also coverage of the course blogger methodology along with demo of how the assessment framework is embedded.
All students given a supporting handout with a ‘step by step’ guide with examples.
On screen examples of other previous student work to aid understanding of system.
Another handout with a list of clear categorised areas to research to give the learners a starting point.
In the context of having 'media to work' with the students will be shooting with their cameras and being shown how to use video cameras in the studio. Lighting and the use of in the studio will be explored on an ongoing basis.
These practical sessions will be available for all students within this group as the other groups concentrate on location camera and video shoots.
